Whitehall

The City of Whitehall is committed to improving its quality of life by strengthening its neighborhoods, revitalizing its commercial districts, delivering quality services, embracing the diversity of its citizens and making it a desirable, safe city in which to live, work, raise a family, shop, study, play and grow old. Many of the homes in Whitehall were built in the 1950s and include Cape Cods and ranchstyle structures; however, housing of all types and in all price ranges can be found. A strong sense of community is nurtured here, as the city has a pronounced familyoriented feel.

The Whitehall City School District maintains three elementary schools, one middle school, one high school and a partnership with the C. Ray Williams Early Learning Center. The district serves approximately 3,000 students and provides a wide variety of programming designed to meet the needs of its diverse population.

The City’s Parks and Recreation Department maintains nearly 160 acres of parkland at five parks and offers youth and adult sports leagues, picnic shelters, outdoor concerts, hiking trails, playgrounds and a golf driving range.

Nestled on the east side of Columbus between Reynoldsburg, Gahanna, Port Columbus International Airport and Bexley, Whitehall is located on the Old National Road (U.S. Route 40) and near Interstates 70, 270 and 670.
