A fast growing rural/suburban village located 19 miles from Broad and High on the southeast side of the Columbus metropolitan area. Founded in 1815, Pickerington is a charter community with the Mayor-Council-Manager form of government. Designated Violet Capital of Ohio in 1995, by The Ohio State Senate. Violet Festival held every spring in Olde Downtown Pickerington.
